Terms of Service

1. Service Agreement

By accessing Dream Realism products ("Service"), you enter into a legally binding agreement. These terms govern your use of our post-processing software and digital assets. You must be at least 16 years old to use our products and services.

2. Proprietary Rights

The Software, including all underlying code, shader logic, and visual assets, is the exclusive intellectual property of Dream Realism, protected by international copyright law (Berne Convention, WIPO Copyright Treaty, EU Copyright Directive, DMCA). You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software.

  • Reselling or redistributing any assets is strictly prohibited.
  • Reverse-engineering or bypassing license validation is a violation of these terms.
  • Modification for public redistribution is not permitted.
  • Sharing, selling, or transferring your license key is not allowed.
  • Personal YouTube, Twitch, and social media content creation is permitted.

Circumventing technical protection measures violates DMCA Section 1201 and EU Copyright Directive Article 6, carrying significant civil and criminal penalties.

3. License Verification

The Software contains a license verification system that contacts our server to validate your key. Only the license key is transmitted. No personal data, hardware IDs, passwords, files, or Steam credentials are collected during verification.

The Software includes a built-in grace period that allows continued use during temporary server outages.

4. Subscription & Cancellation

Access to premium updates and support is provided via a recurring subscription model. You may cancel at any time through your account portal.

  • Cancellations process within 24 hours.
  • Your filter license remains permanently active for continued personal use.
  • Upon cancellation, your Discord role and website access will be revoked immediately.
  • Future updates and premium support end with your subscription.
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing cycles.

5. Refund Policy

All purchases are final due to the digital nature of the product.

No Refund

  • Temporary server outage or verification delay
  • Database maintenance or short service interruption
  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Your PC or hardware can't run the filter (missing CSP, Pure, etc.)
  • Your license was revoked due to a violation of these terms
  • Partial billing cycle after cancellation

Refund Possible

  • Your license key never worked due to a verified issue on our side
  • Duplicate charge caused by a payment processor error
  • Permanent loss of access due to an issue on our side that cannot be resolved within 30 days (replacement key or refund of last billing period)

Refund requests must be sent to contact@dreamrealismac.com within 14 days of purchase with proof of payment and a description of the issue.

EU Consumers: By activating the Software, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal per EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m).

6. Service Availability

We do not guarantee 100% server uptime. Outages may occur due to maintenance, infrastructure failures, or force majeure events. Temporary downtime does not entitle you to a refund or compensation.

In the unlikely event of a database failure affecting license records, we will make reasonable efforts to restore affected licenses. Users are encouraged to retain their proof of purchase as backup verification.

7. Prohibited Use

Unauthorized use of our Service including but not limited to automated scraping, DDoS attacks, or attempting to compromise admin infrastructure will result in immediate permanent banning without refund.

8. Beta & Early Access

Beta and early access content is strictly confidential. Leaking beta files, features, or screenshots results in permanent license revocation, a ban from all Dream Realism services, and potential legal action.

9. Limitation of Liability

Dream Realism provides Software "as-is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for any damages from use of the Software including data loss, game crashes, system instability, or hardware issues.

EU/German Consumers: This disclaimer does not affect your statutory warranty rights (gesetzliche Gewährleistungsrechte) under German Civil Code (BGB §§ 434 ff.). Your legal rights to repair, replacement, or refund for genuine defects at the time of delivery remain unaffected.

10. Service Discontinuation

In the event that Dream Realism permanently ceases operations or shuts down the license verification server, we will make reasonable efforts to release a final update that removes the online verification requirement, allowing existing licensed users to continue using their paid version offline.

11. General Provisions

  • Violation of these terms results in immediate license termination and ban.
  • If any provision is found invalid by a court, the remaining provisions remain in full force (severability).
  • Governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
  • EU consumers retain the right to bring proceedings in their country of residence.
  • We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via our website or Discord.

Official support is provided exclusively through our verified Discord server and live chat console for active subscribers.
